Dutch Circuit

Dutch Circuit is a 2021 photo project documenting the landscape- and rail infrastructure of different regions of the Netherlands, from the bustling Randstad, to the emerging northeastern network, to the tip of Limburg, and across Noord-Brabant.

Spanning over twelve trains, hundreds of kilometers, and roughly twenty-four hours, the project was a “last hurrah” of my times as a university student, where I had spent some thousands of hours total commuting to- and from classes, thanks to the student rail pass supplied by the government.

With my graduation in the summer of 2021, both this daily commute and the free reign of my rail pass came to an end.
